UpScheme is run by Harsha, an individual, not a company. This page says what the site keeps about you, and why.
Your quick-check answers
They stay in your browser. They aren’t sent anywhere, and nobody else can see them. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
If you ask for reminders
The site keeps your email address, the schemes you follow, which reminders you picked, any dates you say you applied, and when you signed up and confirmed. These are used only to send the reminders you asked for. Nothing is sold, shared for marketing or used for ads.
Nothing is sent until you confirm from your inbox. If someone enters your address, the one confirmation email is all you’ll get, and an address nobody confirms is deleted after a week.
Who handles it
The site runs on Vercel. The reminder list is stored in a database run by Neon. Emails go out through Resend. Each of them handles the data only to provide that service.
Cookies
After you confirm, this browser keeps one cookie, so following another scheme doesn’t need another email. There are no tracking or advertising cookies, and no analytics that follow you around.
How long it’s kept
Until you unsubscribe. The reminders stop the moment you do. To erase your address and your list completely, use the link at the bottom of any email, or write to harsha@loworbit.in.
Your choices
Every email has links to change what you get or to unsubscribe. To see, correct or delete what’s held, or to raise a concern, write to harsha@loworbit.in. You’ll get a reply within a week.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, everyone on the list gets an email before it takes effect.
